Blue Skies Hospitals Fund is delighted to announce that An Evening of Swing has raised an incredible £2,527 to support patients, families, and staff across Blackpool Teaching Hospitals.
Held at The Marquee on the Lytham Green, the event brought together supporters for a fantastic evening of live music, dancing and community spirit. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable night of entertainment while helping to raise vital funds for their local NHS charity.
The impressive total was made possible thanks to the generosity of attendees, performers, volunteers, and supporters, who all played a part in making the event such a success.
Blue Skies would also like to extend a special thank you to Phil’s Bakery, who generously came along and kept everyone fed throughout the evening. Their support helped make the event even more enjoyable for everyone who attended.
Kila Redfearn, Head of Charity at Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, said: “What a fantastic evening! Everyone looked amazing in their 1940s outfits and helped create such a fun atmosphere. We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers, the brilliant performers who kept us entertained all night, everyone who came along to support us, and Fylde Council for their continued support. Together we raised an incredible £2,527 for Blue Skies, helping us fund projects that make a real difference for local patients, families and NHS staff”.

All profits raised will help Blue Skies continue its mission of enhancing patient care and supporting services across Blackpool Teaching Hospitals.
Blue Skies would like to thank everyone who helped make An Evening of Swing such a memorable and successful event, and we look forward to welcoming supporters back for another fantastic evening in the future.
