When someone you care about is in hospital, being able to sit beside them, share a conversation or simply hold their hand can mean everything.
Thanks to the generosity of Blue Skies supporters, Ward 5 at Blackpool Victoria Hospital has received 20 new visitor chairs, helping to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and the people who matter most to them.
Funded at a cost of £1,080, ensuring families can spend valuable time together in greater comfort during what can often be a difficult and emotional time.
The new chairs are expected to benefit more than 500 patients every year, helping loved ones stay close, offer support and make precious moments together a little easier.
This is a wonderful example of how Blue Skies funding can make a meaningful difference, enhancing the hospital experience for patients and their families when it matters most.
